DOM or Electric welded seam tubing...???

Hi all,

I am looking to get a roll cage for my Ford Bronco truck.. Most of the kits use 1 5/8" 0.134 wall Electric welded seam (ESM). I have been told to get a kit that uses DOM tubing...

Is the ESM tubing ok ? what are the advantages/ disadvantageS?

I am not sure, but the wall thickness seems sufficient. The ESM is probably not a straight round tube, but joined together by machine. Like it might have been a stright piece of metal, but was formed into tube.
You might want to post this question on the bbs. They have lots of technical info.
