few 660r questions

i have an 05 660 and want to pipe it and drop a tooth in the front. can i get a 13 tooth and still keep my stock chain. if so what size is the stock chain. as far as exhaust is. i heard that the stock headers are good and all i need is a pipe. is that true. also what is a decent pipe that isn't to loud. i put a stage 2 moose kit on it already and what a difference.

Re: few 660r questions

A 13 tooth frount sproket is stock gearing for the 660 Raptor. You can put 12,13,14 on there and still use the stock chain. As for a pipe if you are going to put a aftermarket exhaust on you may as well go all the way with a full exhaust not just the slip on.

Re: few 660r questions

i put a gyt-r slip-on muffler as well as the jet-kit to go along with it and it sounds really good ,but its very loud
careful with the gearing ,we had a guy in the dealership with his raptor that he had changed the gearing on and it made a big difference but consequently he overrevved it from to much rpm from the low gearing and wasn't very pretty when we took the motor out.
