Looking for LT500R wheels

I'm looking for new LT500R rims other than the plain ITP T-9's or the plain Douglas's. ITP states they don't carry ITP T-9 Pro Series or Baja's. I noticed the ORC guys have the Baja's on their project zilla. I wonder if they did some rework to get them to a 5 bolt pattern?? Does any know what they did or if there is any other options?

Re: Looking for LT500R wheels

I tried to find different wheels for mine with no luck, I guess there is not enough market for them. I would think they would have to be drilled out for this bolt pattern. I have never tried this but have known guy's that have drilled new bolt holes in there rims to fit different quads. They didnt have any trouble from this mod, but It probably wouldnt look to great tho.

Re: Looking for LT500R wheels

I know this goes in a completely different direction to get the same job done. but here goes-

the rear hubs for a suzuki Z-400 fit the LT500R & later models of LT250R. putting them on gives you a 4-110 (honda rear) bolt pattern. by changing hubs, you open up a whole new world of possibilities with wheel selection. i beleive there are also billet hubs availble from durablue, LSR & the like. stock ones can be had on ebay for about $40-50.

I have not tried the front hubs from a z-400 on an LT yet, but i know the bearings are the same. all the LT250/500 front hubs are the same, the brake rotors are different.... but the z400 & LT500 front brake rotors are the same size fron what i understand. let us know if anyone tries this... we will eventually on my brother's LT250R if nobody else does.

good luck!
