is anyone using the trail tech speedometer/computer on their quad? How does it work...i mean is it accurate to a certain degree? I have a similar gadget on my mountain bike and its gotta be within one mph compared to a car. Just wondering might be fun to see if performance upgrades are making a difference in top speed...and for about 70 bucks...what the hey? any feedback is appreciated
Ya i bought 1 right when i bought my warrior. It great, its allittle confusing to set your wheel size (millimeters, dont do inches like me lol) After i got it figured out its pretty cool. Just dont look at it while riding (its kinda distracting). It will save your top speed into it. Hope that helped, bye
I just installed one of these Trail Tech speedo setups on our new Polaris Phoenix today.
Since the Phoenix is new for this year, they didn't offer a direct fit kit. But Kelly at Trail Tech was a tremendous help in getting me the setup I needed to make the unit work on our new ATV. It was relatively easy to install and setup.
I am hoping to get out tomorrow and do a couple distance trials to see if the settings needs to be tweaked for accuracy.
