What To do next to my Blaster?

Ok, I just bought a 2001 blaster. It has an FMF pipe on it and a K&N filter. What should I do next to it? I would like more low end without sacrificing top end. Is there any mods that do both?

How about reeds? what brand? what type?
Reed spacers?
Jetting?
Do I need to rejet it with new reeds?

Whats a boot bottle? Good/Bad?

Ignition timing mods?

Thanks for the help, I'm new to 4 wheelers, so I'd like some expert opinions.

Re: What To do next to my Blaster?

to get what your really looking for your going to need to go with some internal engine mods, try a boring with port and polish, really give the blaster some more well needed power...

reeds are a good idea, Boyseen reeds are most popular, I have no expirence with them, but have heard good things...Your blaster should already be jetted for the pipe and filter, and you may need to jet again with the new reeds

However remember performance is not always what you want...
save your money for some good Suspension, wider a-arms, and wider axle and some good tires (maxxis/kenda/holeshots)........one very good way to be faster than your friends and on the track...a very good investment
