Throttle problem

I have a KFX 400 and I added a FMF power IV slip on pipe, K&N airfilter and install a 150 jet That was designed to be runned with the air box cover off. When I remove my air box my quad hesitetes and with it on the engine response real well. What's my problem..

Re: Throttle problem

When it is off it runs bad it means its getting too much air. You should go up with your main, and turn your fuel/air screw out more. I would try turning the fuel screw out more with the lid off, you just need to have the right amount of fuel and air mix in your carb for your machine to run well
