400EX a-arms

Ok, this is probably a retarded question. I'm new at all this, really. I am getting my frame powdercoated red. I'm taking the bike apart myself, and have gotten everything off OK except for the A-Arms and steering rods....do I pull the pin out of the bolt and then screw it off? Any input is appreciated. Thanks guys !

Re: 400EX a-arms

By steering rods, I'm guessing you mean the tie rods. You won't be able to take the tie rods nuts off enless you pull those pins out. Those pins stop that nut from coming off as your goin down the trail.
The A-arms should have a bolt with a nut on each of the two parts of the arm that connect to the frame. Also, there will be a bolt that connects to the spindel that has to be removed.
