If you are new to riding, and bought a Raptor. I would suggest for now you stay away from pipes and booster bottles. Spend you money on a good helemt, you will most likely need it!

Re: Raptor 660

The first thing I did was drop to a 12 tooth front sprocket to help the dead space between first and second. The '02 isn't as bad as the '01, but it still helps for woods riding and wheelies. I also put a Pro Design, Pro Flow intake on mine. It keeps the dust out a lot better than the junk stock air filter and box...Plus, I think it freed up the motor a bit. I am just finishing up putting a complete Yoshimura exhaust and jet kit on mine. I'll let you know how it is, once I get it up and running again.

Re: Raptor 660

If you know what you want, I've had really good luck with www.moto-man.com. They are in Michigan, so shipping shouldn't be that bad. They're real helpful over the phone too. Plus, their prices are unbeatable.
