Re: 200X

It's almost impossible to say for sure, I bought my '85 200X back in '94. It had a Supertrapp full exhaust, WB cam, original balloon tires on the stock rear wheels, a set of brand new Kenda Vipers on aluminum wheels, a set of Dick Cepek paddle's on wheels, no tears in the seat, and plastic was still good, along with a small single bike trailer to haul it home on for $350, but I think that was a steal. I've seen nice 200X's selling for anything from $500-$1250 depending on where the seller lives. If you live in a big city, maybe you could sell it for $1,500 , if you live in a really small town like I do, you would be lucky to get $500-$750, hardly anybody around here has enough money to afford paying more, and most that do have the money would just go out and buy a quad instead of a 17 year old 3 wheeler. I do have a friend that is trying to buy a '87 350X right now for $1,500-$1,600, but only because he just got a little money he's been waiting on for almost a year for, and doesn't want to blow it all on a new quad, and the 350X he's working on getting was in storage for over 9 years, and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Best thing for you to do would be check on cycletrader.com and see what clean 200X's are selling for in your region, and go from there. Good Luck and let me know how much you get for it.
