baffle questions

hi i have a 2003 bombardier rally and i need sum answers well at least 1 anywayz i took tha baffle outta my bike and it is amazing it added power and great sound but wut i was wondering is if it does any damaga to the bike in any wayz and if so plz specify wut it does this is really appriciated thank you!!!!

1st problem that comes to my mind is you took out the spark arrestor, so it's now a fire hazard in anyplace you ride that has brush/woods. Another problem is it may have made the engine run leaner unless you rejetted the carb to make up for the better air flow, which can burn up the piston and cylinder, along with the valves in the head. I'd put the baffle back in before something bad (fire or engine failure)happens and look for a aftermarket exhaust with a spark arrestor, since you now know the stock exhaust is slowing it down, then add a good airfilter (I prefer K&N) and rejet the carb to run correctly, and enjoy.
