I need to get a set of beadlocks for cross country racing and was thinking about gettin carbon fiber ones, but I've had a few people tell me they are junk cuz the break after they get old so I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me

Re: carbon fiber beadlocks

that is a bunch of bullcrap

these wheels are the best technology out, not only do they weigh nothing but the strength is unbelievable

whoever told you that just pulled it outta there a$$, i know too many people with them, and to many positive things about them, kinda high priced but worth it

Re: carbon fiber beadlocks

I have seen 3 shatterd Hiper wheels. Two of them put the quad out of the race with other broken parts when the wheel broke. This was Desert Racing. I would stick with aluminum wheels.

Re: carbon fiber beadlocks

Yeah your right dude! LOL!! He flew off of a 100ft. Dune at the Baja 500 and broke the wheel. Than because it broke he sent all his free wheels back and paid for aluminum wheels. Believe what you want to believe. All I know is you will not find a Hiper Wheel on a PRO racers desert quad becuse they break and when they break there is 4-6 pieces.
