Sony Vegas vs Adobe Premier

That's actually second vote I have for Sony Vegas - Adobe Premier is supposedly best-selling right now - anyone used that?

No, I really don't have any intention of doing anything with YouTube. This is for short video clips we shoot for Off-Road.com. Just need short "How to" video or product demonstration capabilities, event coverage with basic but cool effects. Simple and quick, so we can do it from the field.

Sony Vegas Platinum 9 would be great for that. I can help you with general things but nothing very very advanced.
I meant there is totorials on youtube that show you exactly how to do things.
Its not a cheap program though. I have seen them for sale on craigslist but make sure it's the real thing if you buy it.
Sorry on my last post. My punctuation was bad. I am guessing that's why you got confused.
