OT- Need help with a ford..

I bought a 1982 Ford Futura back last spring for basher car... Just to drive on the trails and dirt roads around here to smash and beat up... Hell I planned it wouldn't last a week... well it took alot of pounding and proved to be tough nail. So anyhow last time I took it out like may, it started odd, I had to jump it. So I figured it set too long so I drove around for awhile and even shut it off a couple times before I shut it off for good... Well a week or two later I tried starting, notta! So I tried jumping.. notta... cleaned the terminals, notta... ERRR!!!!!!!! So I heard it could be the Starter solonoid.. or was it the relay? little round thing? Anyhow I replaced it and the battery and it still wont turn over... Just kinda a click click click... or not even that... Before I replaced the solonoid thing it just CLICK CLICK CLICK LIKE for as long held it the key down... Where should I look for a problem??? Btw, its a 3.3 I6.. I paid 300 bux

Re: OT- Need help with a ford..

"Click click click" usually indicates a flat battery. If you're sure the battery is OK I'd suspect the grounds or power cable, before I would check the solenoid (round thing on the starter).
