favorite movie cowboy

I was watching "For A Few Dollors More" the other night and sparked a conversation over what style of cowboy in the movies was a favorite.

I have always liked the Clint Eastwood movies myself.

Re: favorite movie cowboy

I voted Clint Eastwood. Lee van Kleef is runner up. But as I hate to say it, Kevin Costner is the only one that really knows how to ride a horse....

Re: favorite movie cowboy

Clint Eastwood takes the cake....I've been a big fan for years...

I love that part in "A Fistfull Of Dollars" where he's talking to the five guys about his mule needing an appology...hahahaha...

"Ya see, my mule, he don't like people laughing, gets the crazy idea they're laughing at him....now, if you all just appologize, like I know you're going to..."

Hahahahahahahaha/......I'll never get sick of that scene.

Cheers,

Rem.

Sorry guys, but I feel your all wrong, Clint is good I'll give you that but he takes a back seat to the "Duke" no matter how you slice it.

I reckon so...

I voted Clint. Unforgiven and Outlaw Josey Wales are 2 of my favorite Clint movies. I do like the Sergio Leone flicks too. But some other "honorable mention" westerns:

High Noon - Gary Cooper
My Darling Clementine - Henry Fonda
Shane - Alan Ladd

And the Duke in The Cowboys and True Grit, great movies. Guess I'll be hitting the video store.

I hope I don't get flamed for this but what about Woody, from ToyStory. Just wondering.

I voted for John Wayne. But Clint Eastwood is a close second. My favorite cowboy movie is "The Outlaw Jose Whales.
