sweet! now if that was the newer gixxer 1k engine it would be completely over the top...although the old aircooled mill works pretty good

True, the engine in that cart is probably an old GSX1100 rather than a GSXR1000 as I stated. And yes the newer Gixxer is mean as hell, the '03 GSXR1000 has been kickin' azz and takin' names the last while, BUT, with Yamaha's revamped R1 for '04, and Kawi's new for '04 Ninja ZX-10R, the Gixxer will have a run for its money in '04. That new ZX-10R is only 385 lbs and has 184 horseower, now thats just fugly.

Cheers,

Ya thats an 1100, and if ya'll think thats cool you oughta see an 1100 in a drag rail, I have. Suzuki has been doing it best for the longest as far as crotch rockets go. I remeber seeing a 1100 turbo back in the mid 80's in Virginia Beach that would make your jaw drop just by the unlimited John Force style burnies it could do. That vid has motivated me to go get to work on my kids cycle engine powered go-cart.

Yup, thats great. I would love to build something even close to that. There are several guys on the bike/stunt boards doing it. One even has a duc 999 twin in it.

Re: Nice Go-kart....1000cc....LOL

yeah, those are the same engines they use for the dwarf cars around here. They have the body like the old legends cars, but r scaled down to not much bigger than go cart size. Those little things scream!!....Somebody timed them the last time they ran at our local dirt track, and they were only 1/2 second slower per lap than the fastest stock cars that race out there Was pretty cool to see them going around the corners 4 and 5 wide when the big cars can only go 2 if they are carefull!!!
