another Bambi Sighting!!!

My dog wanted to know what the heck was in the truck that smelled familiar to him. He loves chasing the deer in the woods.

I was hoping to get to see what a gutted deer looked like again this year...today was opening day, and we didn't even see anyhting in legal shooting hours [img]images/graemlins/cussing.gif[/img]....1st time in 10 years I haven't filled my tag the 1st day [img]images/graemlins/lame.jpg[/img]

Hey man ...Nice deer !!!!!! ...around here there are folks that dont kill does for whatever lame reason they can come up with , but in my book you cant eat them horns and a nice fat doe makes dang good eating .. i have fed the family with many a doe and no one seems to know the difference when the meat is wrapped in freezer paper ..... congratulations [img]images/graemlins/40BEER.gif[/img]..by the way ...nice clean gutting job .. looks like you know what you are doing ....... Better luck next time ! just curious about how longs the hunting season, what are the legal shooting hours and whats a tag ? we don't have any of those over here in New Zealand [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] just go out find it and shoot.

I hope your not going to make sausages with the back steaks !!! Nice look'in animal how many lb's did it go ?
theres no shooting does for us over here at the momment as they are all about to drop thier fawns soon.
