Need help with Names....

The wife and I are having a difficult time thinking of names for our soon to be kid......(due Nov 30th) I want to employ all of you to help with the task.

Come up with a name for our kid. We do not know the sex so a name for each would be good.

I am going to run the names past my nephew (who is 7) and see what kind of fun he can make of them.

We are open to any suggestions (I think)

Thanks

Re: Need help with Names....

Since when I have kids, they won't be anywhere near yours . . .

I like Victor for a boy because he'll always be a winner.

For a girl, I like Danika or Danya for some reason - something angelic about it.

Otherwise, "The Hulk" is also good.

You can make fun of any name out there - but a good kid can take a bit of ribbing.

Re: Need help with Names....

Well, as weird as it is, I've always like girls names, that can be abreviated into a guys name...just sounds neat i guess....ie: Alexandria = Alex, Joanne = joey, etc, etc. But, I also like the names Megan, Janice, and Chantal.
for a boys name, well...hmmmm, I like Dennis, as in Dennis the Menace, or Steven, or Steve.
Just my $.02 worth.

Re: Need help with Names....

I guess if it depends if you want something unique or something that will just fit in.

Like for a girl you could always go with something a little flashy and unique such as sapphire or madison.

And for a guy name, a pretty common one, blake.

Just my ideas

Re: Need help with Names....

if in doubt, use character names off the Dukes of Hazzard

Cooder, Bo, Luke, Daisy, Rosco, Cletus, etc etc
