Re: Truckin through the river

another picture.

I actually hit a spot where the water came about 2 inches over the lip of my hood. Stayed nice and dry in the cab with the doors sealed and all.

The pictures were probably over 100kb and the server didn't accept them when posted. Check that. Only other thing I can think to say is it's not exactly legal to play in rivers in vehicles other than boats...

You can't use any "special characters" in image names. IE: anything like #$%^ et cetera. Only numbers, letters, and underscores. You have to use the "%code" in the URL if you use those special characters.

Until then click on these

Water eh?

Yeah I know, not very deep, it was already getting shallower by that time, I think the deepest it got was the bottom of my door.

Re: Truckin through the river

I think there is something about Samurais that make them the perfect water-crossing vehicle short of a Range Rover of course. For some reason they just don't take on water and seem to be inherently waterproof stock.

The deepest I've ever been through is up to the body line. I've pushed water with my bug deflector before. The deepest I've ever stopped in is about even with the top of my wheelwells. I don't really like driving in water higher than the top of my tires. When it gets that high I start getting water in the cab (hate working the pedals when they're underwater) and my crank pulley starts throwing water all over under the hood which makes cleanup a chore.

Those Sammy's prove themselves everytime I see one in action. Or a picture for that matter.
I hate water crossings. I like to see what I'm going to crash into.
