dang tree huggers

today i got to MSU and after i parked and walk up there are three girls dressed like hippies in some stupid rags they call clothes and they were taking pictures of each other actually hugging the trees. i was so pissed off i was going to go get my big gas hogging truck and rev it up and park it by them. then i remembered i took the gf's probe so i could spend $6.00 on gas instead of $25.00.......what a let down. someone yelled "damn tree huggers" and they just giggled like it was funny, well i aint laughing

Re: dang tree huggers

I agree Sparty,
I spent a couple years logging, probably a full year carrying around a Husqvarna 268, clearing right-of-ways for logging roads, then I operated a 350 Timberjack skidder, and then a 230 Timberjack Forwarder. This back-breaking work is what kept me fed, and my bills paid, so I always swore if a tree hugging hippy wanted to chain themselves to a tree in my way, they were gunna go down with it . No joke. As morally incorrect as some of the things we do to our enviroment are, some of these things must be done to sustain life, and create employment. Slowing down the rapidly growing populations, and urban sprawl, would be easier on the environment too. just my $.02, nothing more.

Re: dang tree huggers

Why would a few hippy chicks doing this make anyone angry?

Maybe some rubber bullets would'a fixed 'em!

God help us all.

Re: dang tree huggers

Re: dang tree huggers

Recycling rubber bullets - that's where the hippies and the police can work together - the police will use them, and the hippies will pick them up and return them for re-use.

The rest of us can sit back and watch the fun.

I must take offence as well.
From this thread.

That's what happened when I hugged a tree too hard.
