Remington 721

Anyone have a picture of a Remington 721? Aquaintance has one for sale in .30-06. Don't want to appear too interested until I see a picture of one.

Re: Remington 721

I think I'll skip it. I want to get a Lee-Enfield Mark IV like the one my uncle packed through Europe. It's hard to find one that is in good original condition though.

Re: Remington 721

Well, I suppose I don't HAVE to have the Mark IV. Those first two were some very nice examples of what I'm looking for. The third one is a little odd.

A lot of people are selling their weapons due to the new gun control regulations, and I'm hoping that some old guy will take pity on me and sell me an original Lee-Enfield at a low price. And to find one that was made in Canada would be the best. Problem is that many people had cut-down the forestocks in order to make the rifle look more commercial - those ones are everywhere and can be gotten quite cheap. I want one for display purposes as well, so it has to look original, and I don't care if it will hit a quarter at ten miles, because the deer around here are as stupid as rocks. Come summer time I'm going to hit the gun shops in the North.

Thanks for the input.

They also made a "jungle carbine" version as well that's supposed to kick like a mule, and I think this is what many people tried to make their full-stock rifles look like:
