finaly got a real revolver

yesterday I finaly jumped through the hoops to purchase my first pistol. Im not 21 yet so thats what the hoops where.

Its a 2" barrel rossi, rubber grips stainless, 357.

its actualy suprisly acurate for snubnose revolver at 15yds.

its even got me out of a ticket this morning, had it in my glovebox(concealed no permit) when I was getting pulled over by the sherif, but before he walked up I sat it on seat next to me. hes like can I see your id, yes shir, then he sees the pistol and goes is that a smith Im like no its a rossi, you wanna take a look. hes like sure so I dump the shells out and hand it to him.
he ended up giving me a verbal warning and sending me on my way, thankgod that wald be tomany tickets.

I gues I should mention I know him so its not like I got pulled over and me and sherif were extracting pistols back andforth between stranger, gota love a small town

Re: finaly got a real revolver

then why did you even buy a real gun

if you went to home depot and got some pvc tubes and other supplies.........bottle of hair spray, etc, etc.....your state is giving you free unlimited ammo

This varies greatly from state to state. In New Mexico your glove compartment is considered a extension of your house sounder these same circumstances no problem. Although I live in nevada I don't know how it's looked at here.

Re: finaly got a real revolver

I bought it to pack dureing early season deer and elk scouteing, I hate packing a rifle and packpack around in 80-100+ temps.

bear is mostly what Im thinking I may need it for, but even thats a slim chance,

I pack in on the trail dureing the summer just to get away so alittle handheld firepower cant hurt.
