this one is dedicated to all firefighters

it was cool to see that they let all of the local firemen get into the truck too.

Re: had some fun tonight - observing

Yeah the monster trucks are coming to Peoria soon too. I refuse to go see them here though. I went a couple years back but it sucks watching them in the Civic Center. They try racing to trucks in an arena the size of a hockey rink so the guys running the truck just push the gas to the floor and immediately let up othewise they hit the wall. They only go over like 4 cars. The only reason I would go is to see the arena trucks, but I don't think they are even having them this year.

The best is in outdoor arenas where they run the long races.

Re: had some fun tonight - observing

My old lady took me to a show for V-day last year and Radical Rescue was there. I was very happy with the show over all but they had some stupid quad wars thing in the middle that detracted from the whole show IMO. It was rigged from the get-go and was almost as painful as wrestling to watch.

Re: had some fun tonight - observing

weather the final winner is rigged or not i still get to see trucks smashing cars. plus there is alot of time and money into those trucks and i want to help them build the next one wait no i dont.

when i was leaving i walked around the back of the arena to look around. then i found a 96 chevy 1/2ton lifted to the stars with 44" boggers on it. i started taking pics to post on here so it could be properly flamed (but it was too dark). some guy yells over to me "its for sale if you want it" they were all looking at me and talking like i was jealous. i started laughing and said no thanks ive got one. then they started to laugh and giggle like little girls. i started to walk away and right to them i said you would think a guy who could have people build him a monster truck would know not to run 44"s on a stock 10 bolt! they all look at me dumb founded and no onw spoke. as i walked away laughing i knew i had the last laugh they were cocks
