R/C vehicles.

Well, I have a Nitro Quake w/ .21 and a HPI RS4 3. Anyone else got any? I hate my Nitro Quake, it won't ever start and it wont stay running no matter what I do. It handles like a freaking hog and has no lowend power. I think I am going to tell Duratrax a few things I got on my mind!
Anyone got some ideas? I hadn't ran it in a month and a half and went to start it tonight and gashed my hand open. Its so hard to pull. ARGH!!!!!!

Re: R/C vehicles.

All I have is an RC-10 car (looks like an offroad racing sand car). Pretty cool, but electric. I should have gone nitro monster truck (maybe clod or something), but it's too late now for I have found 2 much more expensive hobbies/obsessions (offroading and guns). I don't know what's up with your engine, but if you are serious I'd say to scrap the stock engine and go with an oversized race engine.

Re: R/C vehicles.

I'm brewing up a new project right now... All of it is in my mind but I think it will work...
To base the whole truck around the Parama Blazer Body (2dr tahoe) Make my own realistic truck frame, use a rear solid axle and perhaps a solid front axle... BUT keep it scale, not a big oversized monsterosity like the T maxx, Clod and so forth... Much like the old Tamiya Bruiser... Make it look like a Tahoe with 6 inche lift or so on 35's, with nice articulation and so forth. But I can't decide on Gas or Electric and then what tranny... Plus the fact of which axle... Any machinist here?

Re: R/C vehicles.

howdy,
i have a tamiya hummer. it's a beast. it muddie as hell and i only use it when i go wheelen. the front end is all bashed up and some of it is missing. but with a street car motor and about $600 in other parts, it still a toy. but it's the closest to a hummer i can get. also when i roll, i don't have to worry about fixen the body, i'm proud of the body scars. heres 2 pics.
