Riding in the Snow???

How many of you all like to ride in the snow?? I have been riding for about a year. I want to ride in the snow this year. Am I crazy?? Is it that dangerous?? Suggestions anyone?? Oh, I should add that I am accident prone.

Re: Riding in the Snow???

anytime you go playing around, do it where you can't damage anyghing but yourself in worst case scenerio, and i mean notghing but curbs, guard rails and trees around, if your gonna play and screw up at least don't drag others down with you.
the best thing i can tell you is find someone responible, and no its not gonna be your 18 year old bud, i mean someone responsible and have them go to an empty lot with you or something and have them teach you at least the theory of controlling a skid, there is way too much to cover to do it over the internet.

Re: Riding in the Snow???

what are you riding ? i am assuming 4 wheelers . if you are accident prone like you say then be careful in the snow . the snow is soft but its the hard stuff the snow is laying on that will get you (rocks, logs, ground, etc.) other than use you head and dont overdo it , get out there and have a good time. you only live once, so live it up ... Re: Riding in the Snow???

What exactly are we riding here??

the only thing I WOULDNT suggest riding in the snow is a street bike! Everything else is just that much more fun!
