Wider wheels

Hey, how ya doin? I asked in another board but I thought I'd try here too. Does anybody know of a reputable shop that widens wheels in Florida? I want 42s on my dually.

Re: Wider wheels

This belongs in the general 4x4 forum. Click on Main Index and it's the first one on the top of the list.

There are PLENTY of wheels wide enough for 42's available on the market, why pay money to have an existing set chopped and welded? Particularily fond of them or something?

Re: Wider wheels

I want to run six 42s. I have a dually Suburban. They need to have the dually centers and 16.5 outer rims. They need to be at least 10" wide. I hear ya on the .45!

Re: Wider wheels

Ahh, gotcha. I'd say stick with 10's. Squeeze the tires in a bit more and help keep them away from each other.

I'm buying a www.rockisland45.com Compact Model .45 as soon as I can after I get a Dodge Ram 1500 end of the week.
