Re: surfing the net at work

Oh my, this starts to get into some serious ethical questions... hmmm...well, the guy next to me has a Ford Lightning that we have tricked out and he is on the Ford boards all day at work...so I guess it is okay for me to do it too!

Actually, I am on the phone most of the day and I type and talk...I guess that means i'm not losing too much productivity (though it makes for some strange comments on the phone once in while when my attention is drawn away).

Hey! I need to figure out how to get overtime to mess around on the net...

Re: surfing the net at work

This post is from home. Most are from work.

I work nights, so unless the work isn't getting done, then they have no reason to gripe about it
(BTW, it helps if you work in the IT dept )

Re: surfing the net at work

Equal shares for me,
I just happen to work from 5:30 am til 2pm so I'm at my desk a couple hours before everybody else gets here...this allows me to use my work computer for personal use....despite the memo we all got a month ago reminding us that personal use of company computers was forbidden...yeah! Anyhow, my work pc is a Pentium3, 833 so its fairly quick, and my home pc is a Pentium 3, 550 with cable internet, so its pretty decent too.
God Bless free time at work....
Could be worse.
Later folks,
Rembrant

Re: surfing the net at work

Your all fired! I am on at home only. My job as a heavy equipment operator really doesn't provide for internet time.Hmmmmm, Maybe I could get a laptop and use a cell phone to dial up, I'm sure I could make my boss believe it is neccessary for me to do my job correctly and get him to foot the bill.HMMMMMMMM!!!!????
