Do you get to do this at work?

This was during one of my driver's trainning classes I was giving. Teaching a bunch of newbies how to play.

Man, I wish when I did my HMMWV-ed that they had let us take them on the offroad course. It was decided that because one of the instructors had a meeting to be at, that day's class would be shortened. All the offroading stuff was cut.

Despite the common perception, yes, you can get a HMMWV stuck. I know first hand.

Re: Do you get to do this at work?

Stuck? I am the master at getting them stuck. It is part of my job as a recovery specialist. Go find a place to get it stuck, bring the trainees and wrecker to that lpace, and procede with the imobility. I did in out of order once and had to walk back for the wrecker and those i was training. Had to walk to find help one other time too. I was only 400 yards or so away from one of our sites so it wasn't that bad. My unit is brave. They let me give the driving portion of the driver's training class. hehehe. I love some aspects of my job.
