Additional Gauges

I am planning to add 2 extra Autometer 2 5/8" gauges I need (boost and exhaust temperature) on my Hardbody. Has anybody pictures of these gauges installed inside of any Hardbody or Pathfinder??? I want suggestions of places where to place 'em and not look as "Captain Rice"...
Thanks gang...

Re: Additional Gauges

Thanks Chris.... I also bought a couple of these pods (from a Honda)to place the gauges on the pillar, but no matter I've ordered them I see they are in the limit of "Rice country" hahaahahha, thanks again for your care. I just wanted to see "standard" places like over dash, under dash, etc.

Re: Additional Gauges

Ive got my autometer amp meter gauge to the left of the steering wheel (in the litte inset section just below the column). Mines mounted directly to the top, and I was going to mount a second one diagonally down and to the right of it. Looks great, and is not very noticeable. Great place to run the wires to, since you can bundle them straight to the huge groups of wires running just under the dash (and this is area is very close to the firewall also!). Heres a pic! Hows everything coming out JP? Hope all is well!

Re: Additional Gauges

I've got 3- 2 5/8" autometer gauges mounted in the dash above the glove box, they look really good there, easy to see, oil press, trans temp and vacumn, there's nothing behind that space might as well use it, only thing I had to do was trim the panel that the glove box light mounts to so I could get my hand up inside there to thread the nuts on to mount the gauges. No Pic right now I'll try to get one for you to see

Re: Additional Gauges

Glad to hear everything is going smoothly. Have to say, Tony's idea sounds way cooler than where I have mine! Ive seen similar mounting techniques in some of my import tuner mags, looks sweet....but thats just my opinion..I could be wrong..

Re: Additional Gauges

Wade I like your stealth look, but in my case (Turbo boost & Exhaust gas temp) I gotta see 'em quite often cause if these things go wrong, my next "unwanted" upgrade would be a set of forged pistons for my engine !!! So I need to have them in quite direct sight....
