Leveling the front end

Hello, just bought by first nissan its an xterra i crawled underneath to check out the suspension on my new ride and how hard it was going to be to check the oil and all that fun stuff and realized that like the chevy trucks its a set of torsion bars the nissans front end sits on. so the QUESTION IS>>> can any one tell me the proper way to turn these so i can level out the front end .. i did it on my chevy and it was just to the right tigtening it up and it raised it but in looking at these bolts it looks like i make have to do something else could some one please steer me in the right directions so i could get my x-terra looking good thanks

Re: Leveling the front end

If you find out you do need a little advice for it, you can go here: http://www.nissanoffroad.net/how_to/...rsion_bars.asp

I did this the same day I brought my Xterra home from the dealer.

I really like haveing a little more front end clearence from adjusting the torsion bars.

Let us know how it works out for you.
