I am in need of a new passengerside fender for my CJ, and was surfing the net for one. I came across 1autobodyparts.com
They have very inexpensive prices! new fenders for $83.91! Check it out it sounds too good to be true, since 4wdhardware and quadratec sell them for twice that price
1. Call them up...
2. Ask them for the vendor's phone number who makes the Fenders.
3. Call up the vendor.
4. As them where they are getting the fender.
5. I did this in the case of JCW,
6. I didn't want Mexican steel in my CJ, as it was lower quality and rusts easier,
7. I got the vendor name and called them...
8. They used American Recycled Steel and,
9. Stamped them out in a Factory in the LA area...
10. That was good enough for me...
11. Till you call, you'll never really know.
i just tried to find thier phone number... doesnt appear to be anywhere on the website. so i emailed them and asked for the name and # of their manufacturer, and a quote on the s&h. i'll let you know....
Give Endangered Species Jeeps a call...Owners name is Todd. He is out in Holyoak but might have either good used fenders or some of the new ones. Has good prices and the shop is a cool place to visit.
Heres a link to his website: http://www.endangeredspeciesjeep.com/
BTW - I live just down RT 9 in Northborough.
