Still not clear wether I have a duraspark or Duraspark II module. Anyone know???? thanks in advance to the best site on the web!!!!!

well.. i just got the plug wires.. that you make yourself.. the accels.. i also got a mounting bracket off some ford at the boneyard.. but i just did this to my friends.. and we used to 4" L brackets from lowes.. i had some bolts and screws lying around.. and mounted to his fender.. he got the spark plug wires from a '84 F-350 460... and that coil wire was pretty long..

Mine came off a 88 taurus w/ a 3.0. Mounted it in the stock location. As far as wires........I used 90 f-150 with a 300 6 cyl. It looks and works like stock.
Now, duraspark/duraspark II question.
Yours is a duraspark. The "II" has the module bolted right to the side of the dist. I know of no one running a setup like that on an AMC engine. (I'm pretty sure you'd have to adapt a ford dist. to an AMC to even have a setup like that
)

I mounted the TFI coil on the same bracket I took the can coil off of. Works for me. Not sure what a DurasparkII module is but I have one off a Jeep that says AMC on it and another from a Ford Granada both worked fine. I have just installed an MSD module and it definitely puts out more spark. Good luck.
