Depends on lots of things. Driving style, vehicle condition, gas prices. If you have a heavy foot you WILL have a lighter wallet. If your truck needs a tune up, the alignment is off or anything like that gas mileage will drop. I get around 5-6 MPG arount town and 12-15 on a strait run. I don't use overdrive cause of the 33's/3.55 combo i have. Gas by me is like 1.35/gal for full serve and i spend around $35-$50 a week just driving to school/work and wherever else. If i got out ot play it costs me like $25 round trip. Granted i have a pickup which has a tailgate(sorta) but it is riddled w/ bullet holes so that helps a little.

Yes those are real

when i go down the hill my mpg goes up and when i go up it goes down other than that i just fill it up . hard to tell when you are playing in mud (wheels spin ,mud slings
).
hey and dont think of them as bullet holes think of them as vents for better gas milage

As Homer once said, theyre 'Speed Holes'!

89BroncoKid,
Its simple to figure out what your gas mileage is. Next time you go to fill the tank, write down how many miles you traveled, and how many gallons of gas it takes to fill the tank. Divide the mileage by the gallonage, and you got your mpg! (you can use the calculator on your comp if you cant do the math, thats how i do it!) Thats proably the easiest way to do it.

I usually check my mileage at every tank, mainly just cause im curious. I seem to get about 9.8 mpg with my current setup. Fortunately, i dont have to drive too far to get to work!
