On the way home from school today I noticed that my clutch was engaging at a weird spot in the pedal really close to the floor. Then when I pulled in my driveway if felt like nothing way there so I tried to put it in gear and no go... So anyone have a clue on what wore out I have not even check the fluid yet it's snowing like a bitch just gonna put it in the garage when the fire has been on a while. But I also was wondering if there is any adjustment on a hydraulic clutch.. It's a a newer 4.0 and ax15

I just started the fire and waiting for the warmth to set in but the fluid reservoir was empty, I can't see it being the line cause it is fairly new so I am guessing slave cylinder? Anyone agree disagree? I have never had any slipage or any other problems with the clutch before.

okay it's external and it is leaking from the slave cylinder. Now is there any special things to know when pulling it out cause I don't feel like fishing in there with a magnet and my manual does not tell me nothing. Oh yea I forgot about the inspection plate nevermind just gonna pull it out how much does one of these go for anyone know?

Well I pulled it and there is a bunch of oil all over the rubber boot. I have an extra at the farm so I will see if it will work. I know there is a bleed screw on top but whats the process to bleeding it same as brakes?

Yes it bleeds about the same as brakes. Make sure you keep the master full as it don't hold alot. Have some one pump the pedal 6to 8 times and then open the bleed screw then close it and have the peson pump it up again. do this twice then recheck the fluid. It may take several times to get all the air out. You are lucky its on the out side
mine was on the inside and was a B*&^%h to get out (had to drop everything)
good luck

Thanks guys!
