Just thinking....
Imagine you have a 4 speed tranny with a np203 plus a np205 doubler that has been twin sticked.... then add your E- brake as a lever. You could have 5 sticks next to you. Confusing.
You can also convert the 465 to a triple stick like they do for truck pulling and have 7 sticks, not including the ebrake because that shouldn't count... Sure as hell wouldn't have to worry about anyone stealing your truck
wow. Would have to have a specialy book on how to just shift the thing and make it move. Could also add stick levers for individual brakes left and right.
could you use some sort of boot or how to seal it from teh underneath? Man, in Joe's truck had to cut another hole for the 203/ 205 doubler and just put a 3" thick peice of foam with slits cut in it for the shifters and it still make the cab very warn inside even with the windows down. Just sucks the heat right in with. I imagine would want to make some sort of cover boot for all them sticks if something like that were done. Makes ya thinkg of what your cab would look like with all them sticks
Yea, you'd have to have the book, and someone else to run them for you!! But would look quite....impressive?...confusing?.... Throw some plow controls, PTO lever, two trannys.....etc.
Ok, about how Shaggy said with the Pull trucks...yeah you could do the 3 levers on the SM456 and then make the 205 a twin stick with a 203 behind that. Making the setup so far having 6 levers. Then take away the gas pedal and have a hand throttle (I am having one on my pull truck) and then have left and right side brake pedals. Then have the parking brake lever. Also have a small lever that acts as a trottle stop. And also a lever for your main battery disconect. In total you would be up to what...10???
that would be very very hard to steel. Add that all up to 6 switchs where you have an starter button that you can't engage untill you flip the ignition button and the fuel pump, water pump, fan, and all the other excessories......WOW that would be a paint to steel!!!!
ok guys, we shoudl go in the auto 4x4 security business. For a small fortune of $100,000 we can 3 stick your 465, twin stick you 205, add a doubler 203, install a hand throttle, preserve the rain forest, add right and left hand brake, install 20 toggle switch combo ignition kill.....
Yeah flip various toggles upside down so you have to get the perfect combo of up up up down up down down up down up up up up down down down down down up up for the thing to turn on
Heh, toggle switches are cool, I;m goign to wire my ignition wire to a 3x3 square of switches inside my locking console. Play tic tac toe for a while and then start my engine, or maybe ill just wire one swith and give it a .22 and instructions to pop anyone but me? Or maybeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm bored
The Unimogs the Army uses have between 7 and 11 levers for the t case, tanny, pto, the bucket on the front and other items. First time I saw one of them i wondered how anyone could remember what levers did what.
i figure if i can drive a Massey-Ferguson 750 combine, i can drive damn near everything
