Thought i would share some interesting info I picked up on the pirate bbs. Guy there found that Toyota shafts from a 99 Tacoma Front was perfect for samurai. Just had to shave 2 MM off the inside cup deal. The bolt pattern was exact! The rear shaft had to be cut down to fit, but same story. The real jewel to these shafts is that they are dual CV's. They have them at the top and bottom. The guy there picked them up at a bone yard for 75 each! The double CV would sure fix alot of angle problems.....

They are not the same...I happened to have a dual toy CV here, and a stock zuk one. If you have the later Zuk flanges(I think the later one are larger, I'm not quite sure, maybe someone can help here), The holes ALMOST line up. You have to drill the holes out a bit larger and the output flange needs to be ground.
Actually now that I think about it, I'm not quite sure of what year toy shaft I have(too many parts from too many cars in my garage).
Also....try calling some yards...they are pretty hard to come by.

If I wanna go with a toy double carden shaft in my rear what do I really need? Do I need the larger flanges or can I drill my small flanges to take the toyota shaft? What shaft do i need to look for?

someone said the guy that posted the idea recently was from Chili so you would have to look under the truck. I believe it was a 1999 Tacoma 4x4. it was the front shaft. The holes all lined up all you have to do is get the center of the flange bored out by 1MM I believe.

What type of driveshaft, A Double-Double cardan(t-case and axle), or a single double cardan(just T-case) On a single Double Cardan the large suzuki flange bolt holes line up properly with the toyota Non-DC side, though the centering ring is slightly larger on the toy shaft. The DC end, the centering ring is the same as the Suzuki large flange, but the bolt holes are spaced out more. I just went into my garage and verified this info
