I have a man who can trim my alloy to the correct shape for me, now I need to know how y'all fix them to the door?
The original press clips won't be any good.
Screws maybe?

Rivets will give it a nice tuff look, but the next time you need in there you will also need to turn the door upside down to get all the little bits of rivet out left from unpopping them or they will rattle you crazy.
Pan head self tapping screws will probably be the best ticket.
Also if your considering diamond tread, remember the way to heaven for most fabrics is through friction...
rivet nuts and screws vhb double sided foam tape (will be real pita if you need to remove them ) make shure every thing is clean and leave a couple spots with out the tape to start a hacksaw blade if you use the tape
