By real chance, one of my house mates stumbles on this group that is building a Battle-Bot on campus. They are funded by the mechanical engineering dept. and electrical and need people.
So, i'm taking the opertunity, since they've got the resouces to teach me how to weld. This is great practice for fixing and buidling stuff for the jeep.
It's nice to see in my senior year, college is finaly getting intererseting.

Sorry, I just saw a "Stranger" heckling an enthusiastic post.
(Short of putting [joke] [/joke] tags around appropriate words it can be hard to pick it out.)

I hate pointing out spelling or grammar errors anyways. :) I always spell something wrong in my response.

Welding is a great thing to know how to do! I am taking a class right now, the only problem is that now, I want to get my own welding rig, but they are super expencive! Maybe when I grad from school in May I will find a job where I make enough to get one!

Inferno, I've noticed that you like to put a 'u' in some words. /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif. J/K /wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif

Ha, that is funny. Yea my grammer and spelling is a little off and all sorts of stuff. If you look at the time stamp on that, i'm on the east coast(which means I probably posted it at 2-3 am, grammer and spelling don't count if I should be asleep). I'm at the University of Rhode Island, and I'm technicaly a computer science major. The group I'm working with is SMEE (Society of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers) I know all of the EE's from when I was a computer engineering major. I've picked the path of least resistance to getting me out of school. I'll be working in networking, so a major in comp sci or CE doens't really help or hurt, just need that diploma.
Well, learning to weld for the BattleBot project should be intersting. I need to know anyway, so I'll keep everyone posted to what were throwing together for distructive purposes !
