Yep MSD's, but they cost a bit more than conventional wires. So make sure you get some wire looms to keep them away from hot and/or moving parts. My stock looms busted to hell when I tried to squeeze those fat 8.5's in there. I ended up getting some that are mounted using the center valve cover bolts (the kit came with new, longer bolts)

Yeah here's what you do, buy a cheap set of wire looms. I bought MOROSO brand, they were like 5 or 10 bucks. Keeps them in line perfectly and they haven't budged since I put them there. The wires almost form to how you put them anyway b/c they are so thick, and no you can't really use the stock wire looms simply because the wires are much thicker and the plastic is brittle from heat/cold/heat/cold so when you put the 8.5's in the stock locations, they snap. I'll include a picture if I can find it, its somewhere on this site.

All ya need is a little obsessive compulsive disorder, some elbow grease, and a CD2 engine detailer kit. 7.99 at most auto parts stores ;)

I just checked out Summit Racing's website and boy do they have a ton of MSD wire sets. How in the heck do you figure out which on works for you??? I'll probably end up calling them and having them fit me with the right part number.

I emailed Summit Racing and received a response back today. The MSD 8.5mm ignition wires for my truck will cost $58.95 from them. I don't think that is too shabby.

I just purchases a set of the 8.5mm Super Conductors from Auto Zone for $58. I hope to install them this weekend and will get some pics up soon. I've heard very good things about them so I decided to give them a try. Mine are going to be a little easier to route since I have 1 coil per cylinder, mounted on the valve covers. I shouldn't have to worry about wire looms.

I'm a fan of Taylor wires. I think I got the Spiral-Pro 8mm or whatever they're called. I paid $45 for mine from Summit. They don't stick on and they don't burn. They do get greasy pretty easy though.
