Actually, Im quite impressed with the XTerrains so far.. As you can see from the last picture, if you hit jus the right kind of mud, they cake right up, but what tire doesnt?
So far, everything has been pretty easy for these tires, I havent aired down once since I got them, havent had the need to yet.
I like them better then my BFG Muds, these wear a lot better.

Hey, how long have you had the XTerrains. I just got a set of BFG Muds last week and I haven't had any problems with them yet. Is there a difference in road noise between the 2 that you can notice?? Thanks
Road noise is a big difference. I cant even tell when I am driving these or an All Terrain tire. Even when my Jeep is coasting down a big hill and gets up to about 65mph, I cant even here these. With My BFG's I heard them a lot. I KNOW for a fact BFG's are great tires, Ive used plenty of sets, but the 2 hangups I had with them was this:
1: Bad Wear on the street(you gotta get to the offroading place somehow?, right)
2: Terrible traction in the rain.
My BFG's are about 70% worn, and they had only about 9000 miles on them. That wasnt working for me. And in the rain it was scary. I was afraid to hit the brakes when the light turned yellow, so I would just punch it and run the red instead of sliding through the intersection. I havent had any problems with the XT's yet. They have good road characteristics.
Im impressed with the performance, just not the price.
When project Waggie is time for tires, Ill try to get some XT's, but most likely end up with the BFG's to save some dough.
