So, this morning I get up and read the local paper like every Saturday. I scan the ads as usual and look in the under $2000CDN part of the ads. AH Suzuki Samurai needs work $500 OBO, cool I think. Call right away. Chap says the engine needs work, compression bad in one cylinder. So I ask what the bottom line is.....he says......$100 it's yours......I say .......I'll TAKE IT!!!
Throw towbar in truck and head off to get it right away.
Good Saturday....

Hey Danny, this is max on Glenns computer, Why dont you bring that hardtop on down here? It needs the love only a hardtop enthusist can give it, like me. That is a real beauty, i hope you fix her up nice. What year is it? Jeesh you got a good deal.

Today me and Glenn put in the 16v engine on Heidi's vehicle and did most of the wiring, power steering is done, grant wheel on, tranny and adapter with centerforce clutch in there. Its close to being done.

Now its just the fuel tank, sender, exhaust, driveshafts, transfercase.

You guys seem a lot more productive then me. BUT i did have to build 2 bumper/carriers for Heeps and change the clutch in the Toyota and some other doodads. I also was able to complete the new front crossmember that will have the hangers attached for the YJ convo. At least if I don't have my rig I'll be able say I was at the Melt and I'm sure to have a great time.
Keep up the good work Max, you're a lucky dog to have a great guy like Glenn to help ya out so much.......
