I was wondering if anyone knew off hand what the gear ratio might be in an 85 blazer rea-end it was a manual shift, 4x4. I'm working ona brainstrom idea. I have an 85 junk blazer I was thinking that I might cut the rear-end out of it and have spring pirches welded on that are 2-4 in taller I'll have these made of course out of steel just and idea the rpo code sticker thing is gonna along with the I.D. tag.... Just wondering if it would be the same as my Jimmy.

If it has tits or tires it will give you trouble.

well, you could have someone rotate your tire one full revolution while you count how many times the drive shaft turns... ~3 turns is 3.07(is that right?), ~3.5 is 3.43(?), ~3.75 is 3.73, ~4 is 4.10. just a simple way to figure it out.

Thanks, i knew that just was looking for the easy way out I guess instead of driving out to the farm and crawling around checking, I'm just brainstorming, for now.
