I got one a few years ago and i loved it. The motor got old (and was overheated a few too many times) so I haven't ran it in a while, I've been busy keeping the T3 and the GT up with the competition. Has anyone built up there stampedes? I plan to get a new TRX .15, MIP temp guage, and new tires. I have RPM chrome 3-spokes and i want to get the new Pro-Line Masher 2000 (looks just like Baja Claws, right down to the sidebiters!) Any other mods that can be done (besides nerf bars and wheelie bumpers, I like flipping over backwards)?

well i just got a nitro stampede last week and its bad a$$. it has the new pro .15 motor and it will haul, esp with the tuned pipe i wanna get. i have the masher tires and they are sweet. gonna get a chevy body for it. i was wondering if anyone else has these and what kinda mods they have. im particularly looking for front and rear bumpers. i have already messed up the body it came with by running into stuff. ive seen aluminum bumpers for teh t-maxx and i want one for mine. any help appreciated

yeah i have a Nitro Stampede, and have had it for about 4 years now, umm the Truck is awesome, but i have tweaked it a little i am currently running the MegaTech .16 1 Hp motor in it, with MIP CVDS and the MIP Stinger pipe , and a Robinson Racing Hardened Steel Spur Gear, the truck really rips now, i have actually put my battery Box in the front now, and extended my front bumper for a little extra weight in the front cuz i would spend to much time on my rear wheels only, oh yeah don't forget to get Ball Bearings for everything you can and replace them bushings with them, "VERY GOOD UPGRADE" . i am also running T-Maxx Shocks on it "only 4" the rears have to be flipped upside down but they really dampen the ride better then stock, especially with 90 Weight shock oil in them. now if i could only get a 2 speed tranny for it? "which i don't think exist" but we will see what happens,
if yawl got any ?'s on this truck i am pretty familar with it, same with the T-Maxx, i own one of them also, and will have a Mad Force on the 14th of this month

hopefully that helps

I've had one for about 4 years now, I've upgraded it with everything I could find. MIP stinger. MIP shafts. Yes they have Alm. double piped bumpers for it. The truck flat out fly's. I added the Alm. Bumper to it as added weight to help hold the frontend down. The main weak piece I haved trouble with is the stock rear Diff. I keep stripping the gears. I'm going to upgrade to another diff. soon. The last round I stripped the gears I JB welded everything inside since I'm gettin a whole new diff. now I really can'tkeep the front down with a soild locked rear, It loves to sping 360's on wheelie's now. Best of all it's cheap to replace parts and parts are found every place.
