The frame on my '78 CJ-7 is rusted out and cracked. I found one not far from me for $250 off a '78 or '79 he said. The guy says that is solid and straight. I have not went and looked at it yet. I have no idea what one is worth. Does this seem like a good price?
If its good and has no rust , pay , say "Thanks" , put in truck and smile on way home /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
Pay close attention to the rear rails and on top where the rear box sections meet( by shock mounts) . Look CLOSE for broken off bolts and stuff too . Broken off bolts are common where the steering box bolts to the frame. Good Luck

I don't know where you live but I called my local junk yard. (ThanX to the help on this board.) They told me that they wanted $750 for one. Now I live in one of the most expensive areas in the US. (Metro DC) So that mite have something to do with it...but I would be all over that frame....
good luck...I hope it doesn't have any problems...a good frame is hard to find...
