Before I get caught up in the next few days and forget, I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Also, a big thank you for all the good information and interesting conversations through out the year. I wish you all good family, good times, and much peace.

Ditto....

I just hope no one is heading to the airport....I'm sitting here in Phoenix waiting for my next flight....there is not enough room to even sit down.....at least it's my last leg....and all of the shopping is done....

And, just in case you are a Democrat…….

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere, and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishes. By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher."

Oh, to heck with the ACLU….Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

All the best,

John

Merry Christmas, remember the gifts God gave us through his Son:
  • The gift of birth
  • The gift of peace
  • The gift of love
  • The gift of life eternal
God Bless you all and have a great holiday, hopefully with your loved ones. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/40BEER.gif

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Dawg....... It would have taken me a WEEK to write out something as comprehensive as that Christmas greeting! Great job! Perfectly stated. Could this country BE more screwed up? Of course you are probably too young to know this, but 1957 was THE LAST GOOD YEAR. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
******When you get to thinking about what to give as GIFTS, don't forget those gifts that God gave to YOU when he formed your mind and body; that special something-or-other that you seem to have; be it the gift of encouragement (you always seem to know what to say) or the gift of teaching (you can explain stuff so kids instantly understand) or maybe something like super-administrative skills (you can organize stuff such that it seems to go off with the precision of a Special Ops mission). THOSE GIFTS that you are carrying around are the sort of thing that you need to be giving ALL YEAR as your special gift to others. USE THOSE GIFTS AND TALENTS and change the lives of the people around you. It certainly beats buying them a box of chocolates at Christmas. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Now that's one of the best posts I've ever read on this board. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Here's hoping that everyone has a great Christmas and safe/happy new year.
