Will the fuel pump out of a later model fuel injected Samurai fit into the tank of an 87 non fuel injected Samurai? I am gearing up for a 16 valve swap and would really like to have an in-tank fuel pump. Any reason that this won't work? also, does anyone have a tank and/or fuel pump that they want to sell? I would also like to have the hard fuel lines off of the frame if possible.
you dont need the hard lines. What you do need is the fitting that connects the tracker hardline to the rubber line. Just slip it on the sami fuel line and reflare it. Looks stock because it is
Good information, I'll soon be doing an EFI rotary swap and will also need high pressure fuel lines. I've heard good things about the wolborl (sp!) 255 litre/hour pump. Might be a direct replacement?

no, they are steel until it enters the engine compartment. You flare the hard line with the tracker fitting there and run the tracker rubber hose from there.
I will look into this. If this is the case, it will sure save a lot of time. thank you for the info.
