Sure, but they are only 3.07 gears and a Trash-Lock. Almost every other Jeep with this axle had better gears in it. Grand Wagoneers frequently used 3.31 gears...

i didn't read your first post,
but i know some 4-cylinder DJ-5 dana 44's came with 3.73 gears, (i own one out of a 78', it's a norrow track with 30-spline flanged shafts)

I got a dana 44 out of a 71 dj5 with 3.73 gears in my 46 cj2. no problem at all, I,m quite happy with it. move the perches bolted right in.
