New bike

Well, new to me. And free. It's a 1984 Honda XR200R. A friend gave it to me, and I'm passing it on to my son and grandchildren. It was given to me because there are a couple issues that need attention. He stripped the spline on the output shaft and welded the sprocket back on. In the years since a steady flow of oil has developed as the seal died.

Before it can be ridden very far we need to install a new shaft, bearings, seal and sprocket. And perhaps a new front tire (the rear is fairly new) and maybe a chain. It needs front brakes shoes. Once that is done and we can ride it other areas may also need attention.

Did I say it was free? Perhaps it isn't.

Anyway, we're working on it. I came here hoping for direction to service or repair manual for it.

Any help there? Thanks, if there is.
