new guy looking for help

hey guys,
im new to this forum and looking for some help with the drive line of my 84 gmc high sierra, i have installed 15 inch over stock lift leaf springs, a drop pitman arm and steering knuckle spacer, and upgraded draglink, longer shocks, 42in tires and now that its all together im having trouble getting the front drive shaft to match up to the the axle, the pinion angle is off and i know i have to get a longer shaft im just not sure if i need a different shaft with an upgraded double cardon joint to allow more flex in the shaft or if i can just get it leanthened and just install wedge blocks on the axle to correct the pinion angle. the truck has a 305 in engine with a th 350 trans im not sure wich tcase it has in it im not very familliar with 4x4 trucks i mostly work on cars so this is a new issue for me to tackle. any assistance would be greatly appreciated
