Michigan offroad racing

Offraod racing returns to Michigan!! There is a new track just east of Grand rapids featuring a 3/8 mile off road track for cars buggies trucks and quads there are stock and modified classes. This is sportsman racing entry level for those who can't afford to race core and are bored with tuff truck and want to race wheel to wheel. This was the second season and averaged about 60 vehicle not counting quads. stack classes is cheap to run nothing fancy basiclly just a few safety rules and only minor modifications allowed for more info [email protected]

Re: Michigan offroad racing

I wish they had something like that here in Texas. As far as I know, there are no off-road racing events in Texas, except for the cone dirt rallies sponsored by SCCA at a track near Houston. I e-mailed CORR asking them to bring some off-road racing events to Texas, but I never heard from them and doubt it'll ever happen in the near future. Do you know of a way to bring that kind of racing here in Texas? By the way, do you know what ever happened to SODA? Did it morph into CORR?

Take care,

Re: Michigan offroad racing

CORR had a race at Topeka Kansas last Oct. and I think that they have one scheduled for 2001. Depending on where in Texas you live, that might be within driving distance

Re: Michigan offroad racing

Thanks for the info, PoBoy2. I'll have to check how far Topeka, Kansas is from North Texas. By the way, love the screen name. I used to work for Po Boy Express on the Mississippi Gulf Coast delivering New Orleans' style po boys.

Take care,
