The local Land Rover dealer has a 110 forsale. Color=White (I think they all came this color in USA) Body=Very Clean. Interior=Very Clean. This rig looks to be very clean all around. On stock rims and roofrack. Appears to have been well taken care of. Dealer is asking 40,000 USD.
Hope this isnt a repost. Yes you are correct in stating the price reflects the market here for a rare vehicle. This series of Rover only sold in 1993 and they only imported 500 of them. All marked with a plate in the back numbering it...hence 50/500 or 134/500...etc. They are very stable with the market value. In the past 5 years I have witnessed this. Worth the money? I guess it depends on how badly you want a 110... )
I wish they would sale the diesel here. But they dont see market for it. I am also into Land Cruisers and there are few here that have the diesel motor. An HJ60 here can sale for 18000 USD give or take 2000USD. They will always get more money. It is a very reliable wagon. Our cruisers have never let us down. Not in the field or every day driving. I havent owned a rover yet. We have been talking about buying one for years. Then we end up buying another Cruiser. Hehe....example...... Wife and I looked at a used Discovery last month. Then along comes an 1989 FJ62 for a very very good price. If I wanted to sale it I could make double my money back. But I will likely place an Old Man Emu suspension on it and drive it around for a couple years. Maybe in that time frame I will finally settle on a Discovery or find a 110 at a decent price.
